About Me
From Gaza to Growth: My Journey to Learn
I am Hayat Zidan, in my teen years. In 2023, the world I knew changed forever. I was evacuated from Gaza, leaving behind my home and my school. While the war was able to stop my formal education, it could not stop my hunger to learn or my drive to build a future.
In the challenging moments of starting over, I turned to the tools of the future. On my own, I began teaching myself English and diving into the world of Python programming. I realized that while I may have been displaced, my potential was not.
Why this store exists I created this space for two reasons:
- To be useful: I believe in the power of small things. Whether it's a product that solves a problem or a design that brings a smile, I want to contribute to the "small needs" of people around the world.
- To build a bridge: Every sale in this shop is a step toward a classroom. My ultimate goal is to earn enough to register at a prestigious university and complete the education that was interrupted.
When you shop here, you aren't just a customer; you are a partner in my education. Thank you for being part of my story and helping me turn a difficult chapter into a new beginning.
The Story Behind the Store This store is a collaborative effort between Hayat and Nikhat Ali. While Hayat is the creative force and operator behind the daily business, Nikhat Ali serves as the legal registrant and facilitator. This partnership was created as a dedicated platform to bridge the gap in Hayat’s education and provide a sustainable path toward her future university goals.
